Role Summary
As a senior member of a team, this role is responsible for the architecture, design, build and delivery of Integration Solutions as part of a wider Dynamics 365 business line. Working in the specific areas of interfaces and integrations, primarily using cloud based tooling. This will involve technical consultancy, training delivery, mentoring more junior team members and contributing to the strategic growth of the business.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Understand and apply Columbus’ formalised methods and procedures for project implementation.
Project activities to include:
- Work with senior architects to delivery integrations based on high level designs aligned to customer requirements
- Take a lead delivery in project implementations, providing consultancy in the area of interfaces and integrations.
- Execute development sprints as the development lead of a small dedicated project team, assigning work to colleagues and supporting your team through delivery.
- Produce comprehensive technical designs for Interfaces, Integrations.
- Deliver technical training courses to meet the specific requirements of the Customer.
- Complete the Customer specific configuration and build of the application integrations in accordance with the technical requirements.
- Work with development colleagues on the implementation of integrations.
- Analyse requirements and, using your design experience, identify best practices and alternative approaches to give effective cost benefit and enhanced usability to customers.
- Resolve all tasks within the specified timeframe, reporting to the relevant team members if the timescale cannot be met.
- Assist in building the knowledge base of the Columbus team relating to relevant areas of expertise.
- Contribute to the development of new product offerings in the area of data management and integrations under the strategic guidance of the team lead and management team.
- Provide secondary support to other team members around presales, infrastructure design and technical installation activities.
- Contribute actively to the on-going development and implementation of Columbus UK formalised methods and procedures for project implementations.
- Ensure that the Columbus business culture and the values, which are the basis for our success, are maintained and developed further.

- Effectively communicate with your Line Manager on an on-going basis, informing them of relevant issues with own activities, possible development scope changes, expected budget over-run and other affairs that may be relevant.

- Keep up to date with relevant developments and demand within the industry, and ensure a balance between qualifications and requirements through training and research.
- Keep up to date with the functional development of the Dynamics 365 product in order to be able to provide credible consultancy in the area of Data and Integrations.

Person Specification
Qualifications
- Sound general level of education, including English and Maths GCSE is essential.
- Azure Integrations Suite (Logic Apps, Api Management, Service Bus, Azure Functions),
- Dynamics 365 F&O Certification – X++ coding skills, and Dynamics 365 DMF are essential.
- Computer Science/IT Degree or equivalent is desirable, as is a post-graduate qualification
- Also desirable are qualifications in SQL Server Data Management (MDS, DQS) and Mulesoft or similar Enterprise Integration platform
