UK Data & Analytics Director

Columbus already has significant business in the Data & Analytics area globally and we have serious ambitions to significantly increase our D&A business footprint in the UK. 

To drive this ambition and accelerated growth, we are looking for an individual who will help us put Columbus on the map and develop this area to become one of the leaders in the UK market.

This is a very exciting growth opportunity where you can exercise your entrepreneurial skills, within a safe framework of a solid parent company.  You will be part of the management team in Columbus UK and report to both the UK CEO and the Head of the Global Data & Analytics business area.

Columbus has a solid customer base in the UK with a large untapped potential within this area.  Therefore, this is a very exciting opportunity that will provide fun challenges and a great chance of success for the right candidate.

In this position, you will have responsibility for the financial position of the team, sales and business development, service delivery, as well as talent acquisition.

Your main responsibility will be to build and lead the team in the UK, including sales, consultants, architects and project managers. You must have a desire to build something new, enjoy engaging with customers and being a "trusted advisor" to them.  You will have extensive contact with colleagues all over the world, so you would need to have great networking & collaboration skills and be a true team player.

It is essential to have experience with BI solutions, preferably those from leading providers such as Microsoft, Oracle, Qlik and Target. In addition, a knowledge of modern cloud technology specifically in the area of D%A, AI, IoT etc. is and modern computer platforms is also an advantage.
