Content Marketing Specialist

With a variety of business development teams to support, you’ll never get bored writing content in this role. Each product area has a different target audience and will meet different needs.

Role Summary

To write and produce a variety of content assets including blog posts, eBooks, and landing pages to expand our company’s digital footprint, awareness, subscribers, and leads. This role requires a high level of creativity, attention to detail, and project management skills.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Create a variety of free resources each month to drive leads, subscribers, awareness, and/or other important metrics (examples include ebooks, whitepapers, infographics, guides, etc.).
  • Blog on an ongoing basis in support of your other projects and to attract site visitors through search, social, and email subscribers.
  • Support website content development including landing page creation
  • Grow our subscriber base by providing them with regular, helpful content that’s in-tune with their needs.
  • Manage the organisation’s subject matter experts (SMEs), plan external promotion, create a blogging schedule and execute
  • Collaborate with designers, product experts (SMEs), sales, and external influences and industry experts to produce relevant content that meets the needs of both key stakeholders and our audience.
  • Convince others that your creative ideas are worth investing time and effort in. This role is at the core of the marketing team, and others will rely on your work every single day.
  • Own the social media strategy; showcasing the correct personality and tonality of Columbus
  • Build the brand through exceptional creative, by nurturing relationships with influences, and by producing the most remarkable events in the industry.
  • Manage relationship with external PR agency, ensuring content has the maximum reach
  • Any other duties commensurate with this role.

Experience 

  1. Past experience producing website content. 
  2. Past experience building audiences online. 
  3. In-depth knowledge of HubSpot (nice to have)
  4. Ability to produce and recommend content according to visitor life-cycle stage and product goals. 
  5. A dual-minded approach: You’re highly creative and an excellent writer but can also be process-driven, think scale, and rely on data to make decisions.
