Finance Consultant – Customer Operations team - D365FO/AX

To ensure customer satisfaction through providing top quality consultancy to

clients with the Customer Operations team, including 1st and 2nd
line support and consultancy services, both remote and onsite, where required.
To identify and promote potential commercial activities.


  • Resolve customer cases that have been raised with the Customer Operations team, within Service Level Agreements defined in the ColumbusCare contracts, by telephone, email, remotely or in person.

  • Perform root cause analysis and incident management to minimise future issues.
  • effectively liaise with customers and third parties to ensure prompt resolution to issues.
  • Understand and apply Columbus’ formalised methods and procedures for case management, and where applicable project implementation, contributing activelyto the on-going development and implementation of these to improve the customers’ experience and to further business objectives.
  • Provide informal/formal training to Customers with both standard system and special customisation, where necessary.
  • Provide consultancy services to Customers commensurate with experience and competency level.
  • To provide and receive internal coaching to maintain technical knowledge i.e. responsibility for self-development.
  • Update the relevant CSM/ITSM systems and internal software systems accurately ensuring that all cases are up to date to enable effective conclusion by any member of the team.


  1. Previous experience in a Dynamics AX/D365FO Customer or Re-seller environment ideally with incident management - would be preferred
  2. Knowledge of other ERP, BI, CRM products
  3. Commercial knowledge preferable around the Finance Module  
  4. Degree level education OR Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics AX/D365FO Certification in MS Dynamics AX2009, AX2012, D365FO – Would Be a plus
  5. Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office (advanced user level)

· Ability to remain calm and composed, maintaining an understanding and
diplomatic approach, with the ability to empathise when dealing with stressed
or unhappy customers.
