CRM PRE-Sales Consultant

Role Summary

To support the sales teams in winning business.  Understanding customer’s specific business needs and applying product knowledge to meet those needs.

Responsibilities

  • Provide the business solution expertise required to support new and existing business sales
  • Keep up to date with the capabilities of the latest version of products sold
  • Keep up to date with the latest business topics and trends in the industry sectors that Columbus operate in.
  • Analyse statements of requirements by prospects and clients and provide answers in response to those requirements
  • Design outline solutions (proposals) to meet specific requirements
  • Demonstrate the solutions to customers and prospects
  • Provide input to the sales team in the production of RFI and ITT responses and preparation of proposals
  • Prepare and deliver customer presentations and demonstrations of the software, articulately, confidently and enthusiastically
  • Manage your own diary in order to organise and prioritise daily and weekly goals
  • Identify, evaluate, and recommend proof of concept opportunities
  • Maintain and actively update an environment to enable solution demonstrations
  • Pro-actively identify solutions and latest technologies that add value to sales proposals
  • Knowledge of benefits and messaging of complete solution’s features and functionality.

Experience
1) Understanding of product road map and enhancement plans.

2) Solid understanding of solution selling and business processes.

3) Solid understanding of the business issues faced by companies in the industry sectors that Columbus operate in

4) Experienced in preparation of analysis and documentation as required (scoping specifications).


The right candidate will have an analytical and commercial mindset. With an excellent discovery, demonstration, communication (verbal and written) skills. The ability to deal with prospects’ personnel at all levels. a Passion to work with other teams to achieve desired outcomes. And strong interpersonal skills to professionally represent Columbus in front of the customer.

Due to the nature of the role the right candidate will also need to have a full, current and clean drivers license and be flexible to travel as this role will be a mix of client site, office and home-based working.
