Manage project life-cycle implementations to a high level of quality and customer satisfaction, through the use of the Columbus methodology, ensuring the delivery of an end product capable of achieving the agreed and defined business requirements and entered agreements in a profitable manner.
Responsibilities:
The project manager is responsible for accomplishing the project objectives. Key project management responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Leadership
- Identify and deliver opportunities for up selling services and/or solutions.
- Lead and drive customer activities.
- Own and be accountable for all project related activities.
- Proactively identify, manage and resolve project conflicts.
Communication
- Define, agree and manage the communication strategy.
- Facilitate project management and project steering meetings.
- Provide project reports & updates in line with the agreed communication strategy.
- Prepare, maintain and issue project documentation (plans, meeting minutes, updates, etc.)
Relationships
- Build and manage internal & external relationships with senior project stakeholders.
- Maintain informative & supportive relationships with the Columbus and customer project teams.
- Maintain necessary 3rd party, project-based relationships.
Quality
- Define, agree and manage the quality requirements for the project.
- Effectively manage, control and report Risks, Issues, Resources & Time.
- Control project scope and the budget implications of scope change.
- Implement mitigation strategies for all project risks.
- Ensure successful transition of completed projects to Operations.
Costs
- Planning and control of project budgets.
- Manage all aspects of project commercials.
- Measure and manage variances from the cost baseline by taking appropriate action.
- Protect Columbus commercial exposure at all times.
Methodology & The Columbus Culture
- Using experience, provide feedback and recommendations to improve current processes / implementation methodology.
- Ensure that the Columbus business culture and values, which are the basis for our success, are maintained and developed further.

Experience
- 3+ years of Project Management experience in an ERP environment (SMB)
- Ability to align project deliverables and customer expectations
- Experience of presenting complex information to large groups of people at all levels of the company – both to colleagues and to customers
- Full and clean Driving Licence
- Effective verbal and written communication skills in English
