Commerce Business Development Director

Due to continued growth, Columbus is looking to hire a Business Development Director to focus on e-Commerce. The ideal candidate will need to be a highly driven, results-orientated, self-starter that thrives in a highly competitive environment. 

Role Summary

This role will involve leading the identification, follow-up and ultimately closing of new opportunities for Columbus in the e-Commerce business. Delivery of sales versus target and ensuring year on year growth of the e-Commerce business through meeting both own and business targets. As well as new business, the role will also be commercially responsible for the e-Commerce strategy including but not limited to managing the ‘Go to Market approach’, campaigns, plans and activities in order to achieve ambitious growth.

Relevant Experience

  • Proven track record over 5 years of sales in the following solutions:
    • Product Information Management (PIM)
    • Content Management Systems (CMS)
    • e-Commerce experience in both B2C & B2B businesses
  • Ability to identify market trends 
    • Play a vital role in the adaption of Columbus’ product portfolio to ensure a competitive advantage
